Tapton Hall is a traditional hall of residence, built in 1969 with the ensuite rooms added in 1996, Tapton offers a more traditional accommodation experience but with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Tapton is located a 5 minute drive from Sheffield city centre and all its attractions.

Dining and drinking

Breakfast is included in the price and is served on-site in Tapton dining room between 7.30-8.45am (Mon-Sat) & 8.30-9.30 Sun. Breakfast includes a full English cooked breakfast, a selection of fruit juices, cereal, fruit, toast and hot refreshments.

Please note there maybe certain times when a full English breakfast cannot be offered. An alternative breakfast will always be available and customers will be notified prior to their arrival.

There is an onsite bar (please note, opening times are subject to availability).

Parking: limited free parking is available. There is also free street car parking. All car parking is subject to availability throughout the course of your stay.

A car parking permit must be displayed at all times for Tapton car park (parking permits are available from the main reception and are free of charge).

A taxi from the train station takes 10-15 minutes at normal times.
